This group provides expert group case consultation for practicing therapists in play therapy and child therapy methods, interventions and techniques.  The group becomes an open forum for discussing cases and clinical issues related to the practice with children and using play therapy, including what techniques or interventions to use, decisions about types of session and the goals of sessions, and how to interpret and make sense of the behaviors and issues expressed in session. 

The consultation services is includes some, limited email or messaging support for urgent clinical questions or issues.  Consultation services also include verification of hours towards certification in play therapy (i.e., Registered Play Therapist).

The group will be a closed group conducted over a secure conference meeting platform (such as Zoom).  While all members of the group will be under the charge to keep all case information discussed private in the group, it is still encouraged that members presenting cases avoid presenting true names and any other personal identifying information.

This is group is for case consultation only, not clinical supervision.  Therapists in this group are expected to be either independently clinically-licensed in their jurisdictions of practice or be in supervision with a clinical supervisor responsible for their clinical activities.  The consultant(s) of this group does not assume any liability for the clinical activities of any member of the group, including any complaints or accusations of malpractice.
